Volunteer Spotlight: Kathy Trilles

We are so thankful for all of our volunteers, especially those who continue to show up for our patients, year after year. Kathy Trilles has been a part of our volunteer ohana since January of 2012 and has helped so many residents at our hospice home in Palolo Valley throughout the years.

“My mom was a patient of Islands Hospice,” Kathy explained. “The service that Islands Hospice provided for my mom was outstanding and I knew when my mom passed away I needed to do something to give back to Islands Hospice for all the care we received.”

By stopping in and bringing groceries and supplies, Kathy is a tremendous help to our care team. She has many fond memories during her years of service to our patients, but most of all, she enjoys being able to bring a smile to someone’s face.
